Biography
Irene Müller is a nurse for intensive care and has her expertise in family caregivers of patients with dementia. She acquired her Diploma at Humboldt-University to Berlin (Charité) and her PhD (Dr. phil.) at University for Health and Life Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology on the subject of caring family members of people with dementia. She focuses in her research on impact of homecare of demented family members on their informal caregivers. Since 2012, she holds a professorship for nursing science at the University of applied Sciences at Bielefeld (Germany). In her university teaching she concentrates on chronic care conditions
