Dr. Elaine Fogel Schneider “wears many hats†as a practicing clinician in the fields of speech-language pathology, integrated alternative health, and dance-movement therapy, working in private practice, school-based services, and at the University. Her expertise is in areas of interdisciplinary assessments, social-emotional learning, communication disorders, infant bonding and attachment, early intervention, touch communication, speech sound production and counseling in addition to her teaching in the field of mind-body connections and touch.
She is the creator of BeREALNow® (Be Ready Everyone and Learn Now), a curriculum using the 7 strategies presented in her best-selling book, 7 Strategies for Raising Calm, Inspired & Successful Children, promoting social-emotional well-being and success. She is also a best-selling co-author with Amazon.com and her newest book Confidence & Joy: Success Strategies for Kids With Learning Differences. is committed to each child reaching his or her full potential, confidently and joyfully, with parents being strong advocates for their children.
Dr. Fogel Schneider is a practicing therapist, serving as a resource and coach to parents who have children with learning differences and special needs. She provides face to face therapy and telehealth for parents, professionals, and children. She is a faculty member at California State University, Los Angeles, a consultant to Long Beach Unified School District’s preschool assessment interdisciplinary assessment team, and early childhood programs. As a trainer, coach, and therapist, she enjoys being a resource for physicians, neonatal intensive care hospital units, families, and teachers offering strategies for building confidence and joy for children with differences, healing infants and strengthening families. She is an invited speaker and trainer for school districts, universities, and agencies in the United States and around the world, helping infants and young children with bonding and attachment issues, and children with developmental disabilities and differences.
She speaks with teachers, nurses and university students on topics about self-care, reducing burn-out, and many other strategies for their own well-being.
