Biography
Prof. Dr. Ursula Walkenhorst is Vice President for Studies and Teaching at the University of Health in Bochum (NRW), where she is responsible for the field of occupational therapy. Previously, the educational and health scientist was Professor of Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld. Her scientific topics include professionalisation and academisation of health professions, interprofessionalism and interdisciplinarity in health professions in theory and practice, health-related university didactics. Biography
Cathy Rodgers Ward, PhD, RN, NEA-BC is an experienced nurse executive and researcher and was most recently the Chief Nursing Officer for the past 18 years at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, designated three times as a Magnet facility. Dr. Ward also holds an appointment as clinical faculty in the UCLA School of Nursing. Her research has focused on the effects of nursing leadership on patient outcomes in hospitalized patients. Under Dr. Ward’s direction, UCLA achieved high patient satisfaction with overall quality of care ranking above the 90th percentile nationally and nurse satisfaction ranked above the 95th percentile. Dr. Ward has received many awards including the 2017 UCLA Leadership Award, 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, the 2015 Transformational Leadership Award at UCLA, and the United States 2011 Nurseweek National Management Nurse of the Year.

Rauni Prittinen King, RN, MIH, BSN, CHTP/I, HNB-BC, is the co-founder and executive director of Guarneri Integrative Health, Inc. at Pacific Pearl La Jolla, California, U.S.A. An accomplished business woman, healthcare provider and instructor, she is the founder and president of Holistic and Integrative Medicine Resources Inc. and the president of Miraglo Foundation, a non-profit charitable organization that she founded. Rauni has over 20 years of experience in critical care nursing. A board member of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine (AIHM), and served for four years on the Healing Beyond Borders Board of Directors. Rauni is founder and former director of Programs and Planning at the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in La Jolla, California and served as the nurse case manager for the Scripps Dean Ornish Program for Reversing Heart Disease. She is a director and coordinator of national and international holistic and integrative medicine conferences for physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers.
